‘Bendigo bank is standing by its decision to close the account of a protest group which is fighting plans to build a mosque in the Victorian city of Bendigo.’
I fail to see what having a bank account with Bendigo Bank, has to do with fighting plans to build a mosque, in the Victorian city of Bendigo. If Banks started acting morally, then we’d have full interest rates handed down to customers, from the Reserve Bank of Australia [RBA]. The Banks wouldn’t have many customers at all. I firmly believe the Bendigo Bank, is acting out of fear, fear of being outed as the bank holding the funds, for the protest group which is fighting plans to build a mosque in the Victorian city of Bendigo.
The day Bendigo bank starts portraying morality, onto their customers and to the wider city of Bendigo and the State of Victoria, is day we have problems. just wondering if this will be investigated, by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission [ACCC] or possibly referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service [FOS]
