Well after trying to book online at the Eltham Gateway Hotel and Conference Centre, through the hotels online booking system, which has been down for over 3+ hours. I tried calling the Hotel Direct, what I was greeted with was an answering machine advising me, I had called outside reception hours and to call back during business hours.
A hotels hours should be 24/7 for guests and prospective guests. So if you really want to stay in this hotel I suggest you call during business hours which ever they are, as they didn’t specify just like they don’t specify, on their website either.
Not a great start to a business relationship!
But on a positive note, they called back as soon as they opened. They had no idea web booking platform was down. So all in all a very good experience.
